Kefir: Science, Health, & TLE

Kefir, a yeast and lactic-acid bacteria, is an amazing health booster. It helps the immune system & helps fight cancer. Not only that, but it gives you healthy glowing skin and makes you grow tall. Kefir is also a rich source of calcium, protein, vitamin B, and probiotics. In fact, its amount of probiotics is way more better than yogurt. You can find more about the health benefits of Kefir here.

Kefir is indeed an amazing superhero bacteria and here's how we can obtain it....

When the Kefir is fermented, strain it using a plastic spoon. I recommend that you do not use metal because I was told it would affect the Kefir, I've never tried it but perhaps you can (and see the difference and tell me). once you are done staining the Kefir just repeat the recipe for another batch of Kefir again. And once it's fermented, stain it and apply the recipe again, and again, and again. It's a cycle so get a lot of bottles... your Kefir grains will multiply along the way.

Do not drink too much Kefir. This can cause acidic problems in your body so if you're just a beginner, take small amounts first, around 8 ounces, then gradually see how you adjust to it. I drink one cup of Kefir a day, but my body may not be like yours, and this amount may be too much for some people so just take it slowly.

You may be wondering, "How in the world will I get this amazing bacteria?" Well... to be honest, I really don't know because I was just given this from a friend and her family. That is the easiest way to obtain it. But according to my research, you can just order Kefir at a local health store, you often by it in a dry state.

So Happy Kefir Day! Enjoy! Bye!
